Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What types of businesses do you typically work with?
We work with companies across sectors — from early-stage startups forming their first vendor relationships to established SMEs managing complex supplier and distribution networks. The common thread is a need for well-considered commercial documentation.
How long does contract drafting typically take?
A standard commercial contract draft is generally ready within five to seven business days from the initial briefing. More complex arrangements with multiple parties or bespoke structures may require additional time, which we discuss with you at the outset.
What happens during a contract review engagement?
You share the document with us, and we conduct a thorough clause-by-clause review. We return a marked-up version alongside a summary memorandum identifying areas of concern, suggested amendments, and clauses that may need further negotiation with the counterparty.
Are your privacy policies aligned with Singapore's PDPA?
Yes. All privacy policies we prepare are drafted with the Personal Data Protection Act in mind, including the 2021 amendments. We also advise on data retention provisions and user consent language relevant to your specific business model.
How do fees work — are there any hidden charges?
Our published fees cover the core engagement as described. Where a matter requires scope beyond the standard service — for example, multiple revision rounds or additional documents — we discuss this with you before any additional work is undertaken. There are no charges without prior agreement.
Can you review a contract in a language other than English?
Our core services are conducted in English. If you have a contract in another language, we can advise on the English translation, though we would recommend engaging a qualified translator for documents in Mandarin, Malay, or other languages before we commence our review.
